Fusion 3D Layer
Multilayer zirconia with built-in “self-enamel”: 590 MPa in the incisal area and 1250 MPa in the dentin. Monolithic restorations without porcelain layering.
Description
3D Layer combines two zones with different strength and translucency in a single blank. About 70 % of the volume is a class 5 dentin zone with a strength of 1250 MPa, while the incisal 30 % has a strength of 590 MPa and translucency close to natural enamel.
The restoration gets a natural incisal effect without porcelain, and the incisal edge wears much like layered porcelain.
- Single-piece implant bridges of 4 to 6 units
- Up to 3 pontics in the anterior and posterior regions
- Class 5 — one of the few products in the world that combine this strength with translucency
Manufacturer's tip: choose the height that matches the restoration. If a restoration intended for a 14 mm blank is milled from an 18 mm blank, the shade layers end up in the wrong place and the incisal part will not come out correctly.
